...the evenings products...

Tonight I was digging through my box of crafty stuff, and found my bead box. I opened it thinking I would do a quick inventory of what I had...and, well, came out with these necklaces a few hours later.

I used to make a lot of jewelry a few years ago. Somehow in these last few years, it just got pushed to the back burner and eventually it fell off the stove. Tonight made me remember how therapeutic the simple task of putting beads on a wire is. It's crazy how something so tedious can be such a great stress reliever.

To me, the best part of making jewelry is knowing that you can take tiny little things and put them together and create a unique piece that no one else will have.

These are awesome Lois! I've always wanted to make jewelry, and hope to someday... For now, I just enjoy collecting vintage pieces from garage sales and thrift stores.

Have you ever made a piece of jewelry for your oldest sister? Ever? Remember the one you used to call Mama Lynn? She just might need a new piece someday! (Nothing like a broad hint :) or what?)

Ummm...Loie. I did just bring you to Duluth, and I think you one time in your sleep said I was your absolute-without-a-doubt-favorite big sister. And I really dig your elephant necklace.
