A List

Here's a list of ideas to do if you're ever in Michigan. I won't advise all of these, but hey, they're ideas. Not all (or any) have to be good ones.

*Snorkel in Lake Superior in June.
*Climb the cliffs on the hottest day of the summer. in jeans.
*Hike to the mouth of the Montreal in flip flops and a skirt. (through the bushes)
*Have fires in illegal places.
*Feed Joan Mountain Dew at 2 a.m.
*Be paparazzi to unsuspecting people.
*Shoot stuff.
*Go fishing at midnight.
*Dress and act like crazy old ladies.

My new baby

This is similar to the gun I bought. Its a Russian military gun from WWII- complete with the bayonete on it. I got a pouch, the oil can and a sling with it. I need to clean the packing grease and get a reacoil pad for it before I can shoot it. :(

thats what i love about sundays

Have you ever noticed on that on Sundays everything seems to slow down? Everything seems so much more peaceful and slower... I like waking up and you can tell that it's Sunday. Am I all alone on this one or does anyone else notice this?

Lastly, good job to all of you that ran the St. Urho's run!

Yesterday

We went to the Quincy Mine and toured it. It was awesome. It's crazy to think that guys actually worked in there with no power tools.

the life and times of.... me

First off, a confession. I miss this. When I go home, I think the first thing I'm going to do is chores. I never thought I'd miss milking cows, but I do. That kind of scares me.


Julie and I went up to Copper Harbor for the day on the 4th. Sally and some other people were camping up there for the weekend. The fireworks were awesome- probably the best I've ever seen. I would defiantly recommend going and watching them if you ever get the chance.

And, I'm running a 5k in September. Yikes. I guess that means that I might want to start running.

I hate to disappoint all of you who think that I live a wild and exciting life, but that's all folks.
